ERP responded to an emergency situation where we had to urgently translocate 5 rhinos from a property in the Mpumalanga Province. There were 14 rhino on the property initially and the numbers had dropped to 5 within a few months due to poaching. The owners were desperate for assistance and ERP managed to capture all 5 in a day and move them to a place of safety. Unfortunately, the last bull (only 1 year old) had already been shot by poachers and he died after release.
